Skincare for Everyone: A Simple Routine
Thanks to K-Pop and K-Drama, skincare has gained a lot of popularity these days. Seeing the actors and actresses' perfect skin may make it seem like an impossible goal, but with a little help, it is within reach for anybody.

Skincare can be a daunting topic, especially for the uninitiated. Both men and women obviously benefit from making their skin look K-Pop or K-Drama-esque—in other words, clean and perfect. To do this, there are many products and approaches that one can take, but for the busybodies of the world, this can be condensed and simplified into two simple morning and night routines:
Morning Routine
In three simple steps, you can transform your skin and achieve a glowing appearance. It’s important that this is quick, especially in the morning when you’d want to minimize time wastage and get to the grind!
1. Cleanse
Cleansing is the most important thing to do in the morning. If you have a full nighttime skin care regimen, use lukewarm water. This has been proven to cleanse our pores deeply and get out all of that deep-down acne-causing stuff that builds up from toxins in our internal and external environment.
Let it wash away the oiliness as you massage your face with it. This is a good starter before you put on any of the cleansing foams you prefer for your skin.
2. Moisturize
Everyone needs a product to help their skin stay soft, smooth, and hydrated. A dab of moisturizer post-wash will protect the skin and keep it supple. Simply massage it into the skin with upward strokes for a few seconds, and it will give you a whole day of glowing skin.
3. Apply Sun Protection
You don’t only need sunscreen during the summer. The reality is that you have to wear it every day of the year. Not only because it's the easiest way to protect your skin's appearance but also because it is one of the best preventatives for premature aging.
For daily use, choose a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30. If you spend time outdoors, choose a product with SPF 60 or greater.
Night Routine
Unlike your morning routine, you could add up additional steps to bring out your skin’s best since you are no longer in a hurry. But of course, we still want to maintain an efficient and time-saving night routine to both boost your skin and get you ready for bed.
1. Remove Makeup
You’ve probably heard of this many times — if you wear makeup, it is very important to remove it before bedtime as it can cause extensive damage to your skin. Use a cotton pad or any makeup removal wipes of your choice to wipe off dirt and makeup residue.
2. Cleanse
Go for a water-based cleanser to lift and remove free radical damaging agents at the end of the day. Your cleansing product should be gentle and should not leave your skin feeling tight and dry.
3. Toner
Some people don't know if they should use a toner or what benefits it can provide to our skin. Applying toner at night helps balance your skin's pH levels while you sleep. This is best to do before moisturizing your face as it removes traces of oil and prepares your skin for other formulas that follow. If you have a combination or oily skin, go for an alcohol-free toner and use it twice daily. For dry skin, using it at night is enough.
4. Moisturize
Your skin loses collagen as you age and using a moisturizer at night can help your face remain youthful. While you are asleep, this moisturizer aids the process of regenerating your skin by supplying it with essential nutrients. Putting this on your face overnight will make you feel good, refreshed, and hydrated as you wake up the next day.
These quick and easy steps in taking care of your skin could come handy for anyone who wants to improve their skin quality. Give this simple routine a try and see what wonders modern skincare can do!
